Recruitsoft

In 2002, Foresters launched an online employee recruitment solution called Recruitsoft to quickly attract and place the best financial salespeople in their various sales offices across North America. I  was the communications expert on the project team and created the internal communication plan to educate key stakeholders about the benefits of the new online tool.

Canada Life's Group Quarterly

Launched, wrote and designed Group Quarterly, the first internal magazine for the Group Insurance Division. The premier issue won an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA).  Chaired the editorial committee comprised of all the vice presidents in the division, including the Bill Acton, who later became the President of Canada Life.

Canada Life's Online Pelican

Managed this monthly online employee publication during a transitional period in the Corporate Communications department. Wrote articles, designed the pages in an online software program, and uploaded the publication onto the company's intranet.

Royal Bank/ADP Canada Merger

In 1997, ADP Canada became the largest payroll provider in Canada when they purchased Royal Bank's Payroll Technology Business Unit .  I acted as the communications expert on the Merger Transition Committee. Our work led to the first marketing and communications plan for the new organization.

HR Communication Support

Hired by Foresters to provide communications support to the Human Resources department during a time of transition. Worked closely with the Vice President and his direct reports. Developed a communication plan to support the departments initiatives in 2002.
