My Track Record - IABC/Toronto
Honoured with Four Chapter Management Awards from IABC International
During the 2004/05 board year when I served as president of IABC/Toronto, the work of our team garnered two awards of excellence in Leadership Development and Finance, and two Awards of Merit in Member Marketing and Community and Educational Development.
2003 Volunteer Appreciation Night
Led the team that planned the annual Volunteer Appreciation Night at the Courthouse Market Grille in downtown Toronto for IABC/Toronto's talented and energetic volunteers. This was a very special event because we were not only honouring our chapter volunteers but we were also recognizing the hard work of the team of volunteers who helped organize the IABC International Conference held here in Toronto.
Annual Volunteer Recruitment Night
As the Vice President, Volunteer Leadership Development & Services responsible for planning two highly successful volunteer recruitment events that attracted most of the volunteers required to plan all of the yearly chapter events. Also launched a regular feature in the chapter newsletter to highlight the accomplishments of inspiring volunteers.
